Swimming - vocab in sentences

As I entered the pools a big wiff of chlorine and chemicals came and hit my nose.

Flutter boards help people float in the water well swimming.

Rinsing off is what everybody has to do before going in the pool.

Water was dripping wet on my shorts  and I was very cold.

Our teacher told us to come into the pool when I hopped in the pool I stuck my head in the water and when I pulled my head back up and my eyes started to sting.


When I was swimming it was hard to get my breath when I was swimming I have to stop swimming to breath.     
When I hopped out of the pool I got very freezing.       

The bright painting that Vincent van Gogh did is cold sunflowers. ln The size of the sunflower painting is about 73 by 92cm. The year that the  painted of the sunflowers was in 1888.


his colours he used was brown yellow and orange little bit of black. he yous these colours stick up pictures on the wall  too decker at the room for Paul Gauguin.

When I look at Vincent van Gogh  sunflower painting I feel happy because the sunflowers look very colourful. The light bright lumpy bumpy yellow and orange they make me feel happy.
But I don't think he was very happy because all of the sunflowers were old and brown and deed.  

I don’t think Vincent van Gogh was happy when he painted this painting because he made most of the sunflowers half died. I think that he was feeling angry and a bit sad.

I am learning about Vincent Van Gogh. He is a very famous person.
Vincent Van Gogh was born in 1853 and died in 1890. One day he got sad and cut his ear off.
His brother Theo Gave him money to live on.

In the holidays guess were my brother and I went?

At the movies we went to see the Lorax in 3D. It was very funny because the Lorax came out of the tree and heaps of lightning came out of the sky. He went up to the man when he was asleep and the Lorax stack the man in the river and he went down the water full.

Then the next day the man stated to chop down all of the trees and the Lorax did not like that he was chopping down the trees. When he chopped the last tree all of the animals left and went to a different home.

Then one day a little boy was eating his dinner at the table and he wanted a tree because he got sick of the fake trees.

So he went to an old man about the trees after a few days after he was going to the old man he got a saed and he planted it in town.   
 
This movie is very good if I was you I Wood go and watch it.

Maud Island Frogs are native to new Zealand, they are very different to other frogs.

This little frog lives in Maud Island at Marlborough Sounds it lives in damp places like under logs and rocks on steep hills way above the water.

Maud Island Frogs eat small larvae, worms, beetles, and insects. They do not have very long tongues so they jump on their prey to eat it.

Frogs look small and green with four legs they are only about 47 millimetres high off the ground.

Maud Island breath out of there skin and their nose but mostly out of their skin. If their skin is not wet they will die.

The main problem for the Maud Island Frogs are the rats they have a disease and the Frogs caught it. That is way all of the Frogs are almost all gone and they took some to a different Island to try and save them. I hope they can.
